Stan Hyman (BAD '72)
Stan is an accomplished manager, supervisor and trainer with demonstrated achievements in teaching and education administration, and general and operations management, including business development, performance improvement, accounting and financial management.
Stan has also found great success in sales and marketing, retail management, human resources and leadership. He currently works as an Employment and Management Consultant with Martin & Associates. Previously, Stan worked as an instructor at Mohawk College, George Brown and Seneca.
To complement his Seneca education, Stan holds a Business Administration certificate from Ryerson University and an MBA from California Miramar University in San Diego. Stan is also a published author of several Southam Business articles including "Dealing With Your Banker" and "Picking Your New Location".
Paul Sloggett (MAD '72)
Soon after graduating from Seneca, Paul became Sr. Assessor then Coordinator for Provincial Government Property Assessment Division and Property Tax Collector/Revenue Officer for a major Ontario City.
He joined Seneca as a professor and soon became the Program Coordinator for the Property Assessment/Appraisal program plus the Mortgage Broker program for the Provincial Government Financial Services Ministry at Seneca College. Paul was then seconded for two three- year terms to be a member (Chair) for the Assessment Review Board of the Attorney Generals Office. He spent another three years under secondment from Seneca as the Director of the Institute of Municipal Assessors for Ontario.
As part of his career Paul wrote many articles for the Canadian Real Estate Magazine and appeared regularly for three years as the principle Appraiser for the hit TV show Income property.
In his final years with Seneca, Paul became the President of Seneca Alumni and today, he continues to give back to the College in his retirement years through awards, mentoring, and part time teaching.
