Marc Caira (MKA '77)
Premier's Award winner Marc Caira is Vice Chairman of Restaurant Brands International, the parent company of Tim Hortons and Burger King. In addition he serves on the Board of Directors for Hydro One and Minto Homes.
During his 40 year business career Marc has served as CEO Tim Hortons, CEO of Nestle Professional World Wide and CEO of Parmalat North America. A graduate of Seneca's Marketing Administration program, Marc was named the Canadian Press "Business Newsmaker of the Year" in 2014 for the $11 billion (U.S.) deal pairing Tim Hortons and Burger King.
Donna Keating (LCD '77)
Donna is the Governor, Eastern Canada Region for the Soroptimist International 2014-2016 BIENNIUM. Soroptimist International is a global volunteer organization working to improve the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment.
She retired as Deputy Director, Institutional Services, Central Region in March of 2013 after 35 years in the Ontario Public Service working in Community Safety and Correctional Services positions. She was Superintendent of one of the largest male institutions in Canada, and was also the Superintendent of one of Canada’s largest provincially run female institutions in Canada.
Her recognitions include The Governor General of Canada, Exemplary Service Medal and Bar, an Eagle Tail Feather acknowledging her commitment to the aboriginal culture, and a nomination for the Governor General’s Awards in Commemoration of the Persons Case. She was also the Ontario Women in Law Enforcement (OWLE) award recipient in 2012.
