Armand La Barge (ISPM '86)
Armand is Chief (Retired) of the York Regional Police, where he led 2,000 officers and staff. His 37-year career included positions in Criminal Investigation, Intelligence and Investigative Services.
Chief La Barge has received the Police Exemplary Services Medal; the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal; the Exemplary Service First Bar; and was named an Officer of the Order of Merit. He is a graduate of Seneca’s Investigate Sciences and Applied Management programs, earned a master’s degree from Trent University and a bachelor’s degree from York University. Chief La Barge is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy.
Lee-Anne Quinn (DNS '86)
Major (Retired) Lee-Anne Quinn is a 22-year veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces. She served in war-torn areas globally, including Afghanistan, Somalia, Rwanda, the former Yugoslavia, as well as First Nations and Inuit communities in Northern Ontario and the Yukon.
As a nurse practitioner with the Armed Forces, she was awarded the Order of Military Medal and also received the Florence Nightingale Award for her volunteerism in Ontario’s northern communities. Major Quinn is a graduate of Seneca’s Nursing program, holds a BSc from the University of Ottawa, nurse practitioner certification from Queen's University and a master’s degree from Athabasca University.
Tim Scott (DEI '86)
Tim has been running his own business, XTC Design Incorporated, for the past 22 years. The company has won numerous international design awards for delivering quality work. In January, 2015, Tim and his business partner were inducted into the National Kitchen and Bath Association, Ontario Chapter, Hall of Fame.
