Nate Simpson (FPT '95)
Nate is Manager, Business Development at Leber/Rubes Inc. (LRI) a Canadian fire protection firm. Nate is responsible for the growth of existing business channels and development of new opportunities for LRI, Canada’s largest firm specializing exclusively in fire protection engineering and building/fire code consultation services.
Since graduation, Nate has spent his entire career in the fire protection industry and maintained a strong connection with Seneca. Nate has held various roles on Seneca’s Fire Protection Program Advisory Committee, including Chair. He has past involvement in the Alumni Association including serving on the executive, the Alumni magazine editorial board and the Fire Protection alumni chapter. In November 2011, Nate received the “Senecans of Distinction Award” from the College.
Paul Parent (LCD '95)
Since graduating from Seneca, Paul has experienced almost every role in security from walking and mobile patrols to dispatching and account management. Paul’s knowledge led him to a role developing a security program focusing on supply chain and logistics security for a Fortune 500 company. The program was able to eliminate losses resulting in increased revenue.
Paul currently manages a corporate security program as part of a global security team for another Fortune 500 company, managing security operations in Canada, Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
He specializes in team building, emphasizing the need to develop future leaders. He focuses on best practices, the importance of a strong network of industry contacts, and hard work – all core concepts learned from his time at Seneca. Paul encourages others to stay in touch with classmates and professors as they can be keys to future success and urges those around him to never stop learning.
Alexandra Stadler (MES '95)
Alexandra recently moved to Midland, ON. She has over 15 years of experience working in the healthcare field. She spent one year at Sick Kids Hospital, over six years at Princess Margaret Hospital and nine years at Mt. Sinai Hospital.
To go along with her Seneca diploma, Alexandra is also a certified PSW (Personal Support Worker). She completed her Personal Support Worker certificate with the York Region Board of Education.
