Barbara Adamek (FSM '07)
Barbara is a graduate of the Financial Services Management degree program. Today, she is a senior personal banking officer with Scotiabank. Barbara came to Seneca after seeing an ad for the Financial Services Management Degree program on the TTC. After attending university, she was looking for the right mix of practical and theoretical knowledge about the financial services industry. Not only did she find this at Seneca, she was also hired prior to graduation by Scotiabank.
Since graduating, Barbara has served as a mentor to students and fellow alumni through her participation in School of Accounting and Finance industry events and workshops.
Zack Teperman (RTVR '07)
Zack is originally from Toronto, now based in Los Angeles. He studied Broadcasting – Radio and Television at Seneca College and upon graduating, became an on-air radio disc jockey, working in Miami, Yellowknife and back home in Toronto at stations such as the Fan 590, KISS FM, Y100, and Mix100.
Zack made the move from radio to public relations, helping lead many Canadian and American PR campaigns for fortune 500 companies, start-up/lifestyle brands, and celebrity talent. After making the move to Hollywood, Zack served for years as the Operations Manager and Senior Account Executive at Lexicon Public Relations, helping to guide celebrities and companies to success.
With his years of media experience, social media/marketing strategies and his straight-to-the-point attitude, Zack is pleased to finally take the helm with ZTPR, bringing his personal touch and results to each client along with his diverse public relations team of hungry go-getters.
Jameel Abdul-Baasit (GAS '07)
While at Seneca, Jameel was blessed with two children who motivated him to complete the General Arts & Science Articulation program. After transferring to York University, he completed a degree in Law & Society. He then moved on to Osgoode Hall Law School where he completed his Juris Doctorate degree in 2013. Jameel is now practising law at a Litigation firm in Burlington, Ontario.
Syed Shah (CMP '07)
After successfully graduating from Seneca, Syed was offered a job as a producer with Pakistan's top television channel. He worked there for five years. Syed returned to Canada in 2012, and since, has been running his own company, Nifty Events and Media Production.
