Glendon Wilson (RLSC/RFM '10)

Since graduating with diplomas in Recreation and Leisure Services and Recreation Facility Management, Glendon has managed to remain in the recreation field. He worked for the City of Toronto sports camps for three straight summers, two while in school. Glendon currently works in pool maintenance and facility management with a blend of administrative duties for Superior Pools.

Glendon will be the first to admit that he doesn't have the most glamorous or high paying job, but it provides other important attributes. He has the respect of the residents of his site and his supervisors, who look to him as the unofficial leader. Most importantly, it pays the bills and allows him to work in his field of study, which not everybody gets to do.

He hardly considers himself a "rags to riches" story, but he’s managed to stay employed for a very long time and do something he’s passionate about.
