Overview

ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is the global body for professional accountants. ACCA offers business-relevant, first-choice qualifications to people around the world who seek a rewarding career in accounting, finance and management.

You can now complete ACCA courses at Seneca College. This provides an opportunity for students who previously took ACCA courses to continue at Seneca.

Entry Requirements

Students discuss, apply and evaluate concepts, principles and practices that underpin the preparation and interpretation of corporate reports in various contexts including the ethical assessment of managements' stewardship and the information needs of a diverse group of stakeholders.

Advanced Audit and Assurance

Students analyze, evaluate and conclude on the assurance engagement and other audit and assurance issues in the context of best practice and current developments.

Program Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this ROA, students will be able to:

  • Describe what money laundering is and how it affects financial institutions
  • Interpret and explain money laundering regulations
  • Identify behaviours that may indicate activities of money laundering
  • Evaluate different techniques to prevent money laundering
