I have worked in logistics, import and export, and the trade compliance field for 17 years. During this time, I have worked for multinational companies such as UPS, DHL, TJX and Nike, with responsibilities in logistics and trade compliance. Currently, I am a compliance and logistics specialist, which requires me to provide expertise in import/export or logistics and cross-border-related matters. Seneca Part-time Studies was the ideal choice because it offered a comprehensive list of professional and continuing education programs focused on supply chain, and customs, among others. Since finishing the program, I was able to achieve a Certified Customs Specialist designation offered through Seneca's partnership with the Canadian Society of Customs Brokers. The courses in the Customs Professional program, coupled with my professional experience, have certainly increased my credibility and helped me have more comprehensive knowledge of the customs field.
