Overview

Typing speed and accuracy are important elements in today's workforce. Students requiring further proficiency to obtain the requirement net words per minute (nwpm) to graduate from their program may choose to take KIP010 - Basic Keyboarding or practice on their own and take the PRE022 - Timed Typing Speed Assessment.

Basic Keyboarding
Availability
 

In this course, students learn touch-keyboarding skills, or improve upon previously acquired keyboarding techniques. A microcomputer system using a software package especially designed for keyboard mastery is used.
