This course provides students with a basic understanding of Canadian food legislation and its application to the food industry. Topics include relevant provincial and federal legislation, manufacturing and labelling requirements, and guidelines relating to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Importing Practices (GIPs).
