Prerequisites:

PLC101-PLC Basic Programming

This course requires the student to have a good understanding of the basic functions and applications involved in PLCs and PACs. It exposes students in programming PLCs and PACs for special applications which require multitasking; multiple language programming e.g. Ladder Logic; SFC; FBD and ASCII Structured Text, working in interrupts and controlling a critical process. Also communications between multiple CPU on the same or remote rack using Produced Consumed TAGS will be explored. Note: Bring your safety glasses to class.
