This 3 course Recognition of Achievement program was developed to produce trained individuals with the practical fundamental knowledge and skills to work with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and Application Express. As part of the Oracle WorkForce Development Program these courses help to prepare students to pursue Oracle© Certification in the Application Developer track.
Learn the concepts of relational databases and the essential SQL skills to write queries against single and multiple tables, manipulate data in tables, create database objects and control privileges at the object and system level.
MCT490 or equivalent experience
Learn to create PL/SQL blocks of application code that can be shared by multiple forms, reports and data management applications and create anonymous PL/SQL blocks, stored procedures and functions.
MCT491 or equivalent experience
Learn to use a variety of Application Express components and wizards to build applications and database objects that are easy to deploy plus build forms and reports and incorporate different types of items and shared components. (Prepares for Oracle Exam IZI-450)
Students who attend 70% of scheduled classes receive a confirmation of attendance at the end of each course.
Upon successful completion of the program requirements, please submit a Request for Recognition of Achievement Form to the Faculty of Continuing Education and Training. There is no cost for this and your Recognition of Achievement will be mailed to you.
