GRA510 - Graphic Design IV

Environmental Graphic Design is the intersection of communication design and the built environment, concerned with the visual aspects of wayfinding, communicating identity & information, and shaping the idea of place. This course will present the student with multi-faceted projects, designed to build on their developing graphic design talents. They will be challenged and encouraged to be innovative in order to create effective, original and engaging visual communications.

GRA512 - Marketing Design

This subject offers the opportunity for students to utilize the skills learned in the previous four semesters towards the creation of a four wave marketing campaign including outdoor media, advertising design and production, direct-to-consumer mailers and online social media events. The students work in small groups and are responsible for all aspects of the project including concept development, design and layout, production and the management of a budget encompassing media buys and  production costs.

GRA562 - Interactive Design II

This course provides students with the opportunity to develop a unique product and showcase their interactive skills in both design and technical interface layout for web-based applications. Students will submit a proposal including design concepts; complete primary and secondary design prototypes; and provide finished component pages published on a web server

GRA570 - Portfolio Preparation

Students will prepare their portfolios to a professional level. The purpose of this course is to enable the student to make a smooth transition from an academic to a work environment. A professional level portfolio will allow the students to solicit employment in the design industry.
