February is Black History Month.
In honour of Black History Month, the Office of Diversity and Equity - Human Resources, Student Services and the Seneca Student Federation will be hosting the International African Inventors Museum at four Seneca campuses. The International African Inventors Museum is a mobile museum, which travels nationally and internationally to inform in a visual display.
This event is open to all staff and students. Come out and learn about the painful reality of slavery and the historic contributions and inventions created by Africans across many different countries throughout the world.
The exhibit will be hosted at the following campuses from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.:
- February 1 – Seneca@York – Hallway in front of the Computing Commons
- February 7 – King Campus – Lobby
- February 8 – Markham Campus – Lobby
- February 15 – Newnham Campus – Minkler Atrium
