Seneca receives Passport to Prosperity designation

Seneca’s ongoing commitment to providing high school students in Ontario with school-work opportunities has earned the College the Passport to Prosperity Ontario Employer designation.

Created in 2010, the designation recognizes exceptional employers that are providing meaningful experiential learning opportunities to secondary school students across the province.

Last year alone, Seneca offered at least 50 career and educational events to high school students. In addition, the College welcomes hundreds of high school students to our campuses each semester to take part in the dual credit program. The program allows secondary students to earn a credit toward their secondary school diploma and a college subject. It is run by the School of Liberal Arts & Academic Partnerships and is part of the School College Work Initiative.

Passport to Prosperity is a province-wide initiative sponsored by the Provincial Partnership Council, the Ontario Ministry of Education and the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.
