Join the Office of Diversity and Equity – Human Resources, the Seneca Student Federation, Student Services and Yellow Brick House to celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8.
Observed since the early 1900s, International Women’s Day is an annual celebration of women and their achievements. On March 8, thousands of events are held throughout the world to honour and inspire women and, most importantly, to ensure the future for girls is bright, safe and rewarding.
Seneca will mark International Women’s Day by having a photo booth set-up at the Markham Campus in the lobby on March 5 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. All students and employees are invited to come out and have their picture taken. All the photos captured will be used to create a “Seneca Celebrates Women” collage.
On March 8, all women who enter the Markham Campus will be given a memento in honour of this date. In addition, The Yellow Brick House will have an information table set-up for those seeking resource materials on their services.
