Seneca and SSF collaborate on video about transit in GTHA

Seneca and the Seneca Student Federation (SSF) have produced a video about transit challenges facing students in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA).

The video was created in support of CivicAction’s “What Would You Do with 32?” campaign and premiered Wednesday afternoon at the York Region CivicAction Transit Forum.

The short video features Seneca President David Agnew, SSF President Usman Ansari and a number of Seneca students talking about the College’s efforts to ease transit challenges through services like the intercampus shuttle bus and answering the question: what would you do with an extra 32 minutes in your day?

CivicAction is asking people across the GTHA what they would do with an extra 32 minutes in their day. That’s the difference between the average commute time if Metrolinx’s regional transportation plan The Big Move is funded and built over the next 25 years and if no comprehensive system is put in place.
