Theo Selles, a Professor at King Campus, has written a new book titled, The Heart of the Pearl-How to Completely Heal from "Sexual" Abuse. The book offers a new way to understand abuse and a clear step-by-step program for how to fully reclaim one's life from its impact.
Theo has been a registered family therapist for 20 years. He has advanced training in sex therapy and trauma/crisis debriefing. He is also the author of Selfishness Matters, a self-help parody book that pokes fun at relationship "experts" who take themselves far too seriously.
Student releases programming book
A new programming book written by a Seneca student is now available online and in bookstores.
Anatoly Spektor, a sixth-semester student in the Computer Programming and Analysis program, has penned Instant Eclipse Application Testing How-to. The book is a step-by-step guide on how to test applications using Eclipse, which is a multi-language software development environment.
Packt Publishing, one of the largest open source publishing houses in the world, approached Anatoly to write the book after they came across his blog posts on Eclipse.
Anatoly became an Eclipse expert at Seneca and gained hands-on experience working as a web developer at the Centre for Development of Open Technology.
