Mark Jones, acting dean of the Faculty of Communication, Art & Design, and Sean Craig, a professor in the 3D Animation program, will be speaking at the Toronto Animation Arts Festival International (TAAFI) on July 26 at Corus Quay (25 Dockside Dr, Toronto) at 3:30 p.m.
The pair will be discussing Seneca’s approach to facilitating production partnerships between education, industry, and government that has led to several successful high-profile short animated films such as the Oscar-winning film Ryan.
TAAFI is Toronto’s first and foremost international animation festival, developed to celebrate the many forms of animation from around the world. One of the festival’s founding members is Animation and Independent Illustration Professor Barnabas Wornoff.
TAAFI runs from July 26 to 28 at Corus Quay & TIFF Bell Lightbox in Toronto.
