Seneca grad nominated for an Emmy

Adrian Sutherland’s plans for September 22 are all set. He’ll be at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles attending the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards.

On Thursday morning, the 2010 graduate of Seneca’s Visual Effects for Film and Television program received an Emmy nomination in the category of "Special Visual Effects in a Supporting Role" for his work as a lead compositor on the critically-acclaimed Showtime series The Borgias.

In a few short years, Adrian, who works for SPINVFX in Toronto, has become a rising star in the visual effects industry having worked on several high profile movies and TV shows, including Game of Thrones and The Twilight Saga.
