Seneca students emerge tops at VOICES contest

VOICES winners

Corporate Communications students Melissa Augimeri and Meaghan Halloran.

Corporate Communications student Meaghan Halloran was the winner of the annual VOICES competition held on March 25 at the Berkeley Church in Toronto.

The city-wide speech contest featured contestants from other colleges who took to the stage to deliver their best public speaking performance on an issues-based topic.

The College also won the People’s Choice Award, which went to Corporate Communications student Melissa Augimeri.

Both Meaghan and Melissa were selected by their classmates to represent Seneca in the competition. This year, students from the program planned, promoted and executed the successful event, which was featured on Metro Morning.
