Seneca Illustration student earns national recognition

Maureen Heibert has been named one of the winners of the Canadian Association of Professional Image Creators illustration contest.

The fourth semester Independent Illustration student earned second place for her illustration — “A Rose for Emily” — inspired by the classic short story written by William Faulkner.

Students from across Canada, representing the best illustrators in postsecondary programs, took part in this contest. The winners were determined through an online vote and will be honoured at an awards gala taking place in Toronto on May 21.
