Spencer Lawrence Beeston has been selected as valedictorian for Seneca College’s convocation taking place on Thursday, June 16 at 10 a.m. at the King Campus (13390 Dufferin Street, King City).

Spencer graduated from the University of Guelph with a degree in Political Science and Sociology. He spoke with a counselor at the University about wanting to add to his hands-on experience and was told about Seneca College’s Advanced Investigations and Enforcement graduate certificate.

He enrolled in the program and was happy to find enthusiastic Professors that created an atmosphere of camaraderie in the classroom. The 22-year-old is hoping to pursue a master’s degree in Security and Defence Management and Policy at the Royal Military College of Canada in the fall and ultimately pursue a career in national defence.
