Valedictorian Isaac B. A. Woo

Valedictorian Isaac Woo receives his framed diploma from President David Agnew.

Isaac is graduating from the Opticianry diploma program. After high school, he took a year off to work before enrolling at the University of Toronto. After a while, he found that he was looking for a more practical program and began to research programs that would provide him with a foundation in science or math. He stumbled on Seneca’s Opticianry program and decided to enrol because of its science-orientation and practical hands-on learning. He has been very happy with his decision. After placements that gave him experience in the field and confidence in his skills, Isaac was hired full-time as an intern Optician in early September. Once he is fully licensed, he hopes to continue to work as an Optician and maybe one day open his own store.
