Meet the Fall 2012 Valedictorians

Valedictorian Maria Antonieta Gonzalez

Valedictorian Maria Gonzalez receives her framed diploma from President David Agnew.

Maria is graduating from the International Transportation and Customs diploma program. Two weeks before starting the program, she moved to Ontario from Venezuela with her three children. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Logistics from a university in Venezuela, as well as more than 15 years of experience in the industry. She was attracted to the program as a way to gain insight into the Canadian market, learn from those who work in the field and put her knowledge into practice as part of the hands-on program. She appreciated studying in Seneca’s diverse environment. She is now hoping to start her career in Canada in the transportation industry and continue to make her children proud.
