Meet the 2012 Valedictorians
Ceremony 5:
Valedictorian Ilham Alam
Valedictorian Ilham Alam receives her framed diploma from President David Agnew.
Ilham is graduating from the Social Service Worker diploma program. She also holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto with a double major in political science and English. With her degree, she started looking at other opportunities to add to her education and career options and selected Seneca’s Social Service Worker program. Dedicated to anti-oppression and anti-discrimination, Ilham is currently working at YMCA Scarborough Employment and Newcomer services where she did one of two work placements as part of the program. She hopes to one day work with services for women and ultimately develop policy for the sector.
