Meet the 2012 Valedictorians

Valedictorian Laura A. Harper

Valedictorian Laura Harper receives her framed diploma from President David Agnew.

Laura is graduating from the Environmental Site Remediation degree program. While at Seneca, she was actively involved in college life as a student mentor, a peer tutor, volunteer leadership workshop leader and a member of the Seneca environmental committee. She was one of five Seneca students selected to attend the Education without Borders conference in Dubai. Laura and another Seneca student impressed the organizers so much that they were invited back to attend the prestigious Festival of Thinkers conference in Abu Dhabi. She was also one of the distinguished speakers at the first TEDxSenecaCollege event in March. Laura is now applying for master’s programs in Europe.
