Meet the 2012 Valedictorians

Valedictorian Sarah Elizabeth Fenty

Valedictorian Sarah Fenty receives her framed diploma from President David Agnew.

Sarah is graduating from the Liberal Arts diploma program. After high school she decided that she wanted to pursue a career in the Culinary Arts and began working as a line cook. A few years later she got married and had her daughter. After separating from her husband, she decided she would need something more stable and with better hours to create a strong environment for herself and her daughter. She ultimately wanted to go to university and looked for a program that would provide her with that pathway. As part of Seneca’s Liberal Arts transfer agreement, Sarah is now a University of Toronto student working toward her bachelor’s degree in English and history. She hopes to one day pursue a master’s degree in information.
