Valedictorian Amanda Leigh Devlin

Amanda is graduating from the 911 and Emergency Services Communications certificate program with high honours. After high school, Amanda attended Seneca for one year, but found that the program she took was not for her. She went on to work as a parts administrator in various industries for years. After taking some time off to find a new path, she began looking for a career where she could give back to the community. She enrolled in Seneca’s Police Foundations diploma program when she was 39 years old. After some advice from a professor, she decided to add to her diploma with the 911 and Emergency Services Communications certificate to give her more career options. Known as an exceptional student, Amanda tutored her fellow classmates at Seneca. She now has her sights on a career in emergency communications.
