Meet the Fall 2016 Valedictorians

Abbas Hussein Sikiladha

Abbas is graduating from the Bachelor of Commerce – International Business Management degree program. An international student from Dubai, he previously completed the Business Administration – Financial Planning advanced diploma program. He chose Seneca for his postsecondary education after researching his options and being drawn to the student experience offered here. During his studies, Abbas was very involved in the community, volunteering for Seneca’s student mentoring SMILE program, tutoring in the Learning Centre and working in International Student Services. He did a co-op placement at Pearl’s Choice, a Seneca HELIX (Health Entrepreneurship and Lifestyle Xchange) fostered company. He continued to work part-time there while finishing his program. He now hopes to start his career as a functional consultant for SAP.
