Meet the Fall 2017 Valedictorians

Alexa Chanelle Lauzon

Alexa-Chanelle is graduating from the Journalism diploma program. After high school, she travelled the world before completing a double-major honours bachelor of arts in French and children’s studies at York University. She then decided it was time to pursue her long-standing passion for writing and storytelling by enrolling in Seneca’s Journalism program. While at Seneca, she won the President’s Choice Award as well as Best Audio Short Feature Documentary from the Broadcast Educators Association of Canada (BEAC) for her documentary, The Sapphire Ring. She is currently a full-time intern at the CBC.
