John Bamidele Olubadejo

Bamidele is graduating from the Project Management — Information Technology graduate certificate program. Before moving to Canada, he worked in Vietnam for a software outsourcing company while volunteering for non-governmental organizations. Once in Canada, he began studying at Seneca to advance his career and leverage his IT skills to make a difference in his community. In a volunteer capacity, he taught elementary school students how to develop IT solutions for social causes. He interned at HackerNest, a non-profit organization that helps build local tech communities around the globe for economic development. He is currently a regional co-ordinator for Africa and South Asia for the Fishackathon, the U.S. Department of State’s latest global initiative on tackling fishery challenges around the world.
