Meet the Spring 2017 Valedictorians

Pooramya (Ramya) Amuthan

Ramya is graduating from the Broadcasting – Radio diploma program. After searching for the right program, she decided to enrol in Seneca’s reputable radio broadcasting program. The highlight of her Seneca experience was working with the faculty. They pushed her to succeed in the field and constantly gave her hands-on opportunities to practise her craft. This included participating in Seneca’s open houses, where she broadcasted live on Seneca@York Radio from different locations across Toronto. She is currently working full-time on the production team at Accessible Media Incorporated, where she co-produces a live afternoon show. In the next few years, she hopes to continue to gain more production experience.
