Burke Cullen English and Liberal Studies Courses
Burke is a full-time professor at Seneca@York teaching in both the School of English and Liberal Studies and the School of Media. He holds a BA (Honours) from Carleton University, an MA from the University of British Columbia, and a PhD in English literature from the University of Toronto. In his 20-plus years at Seneca, Burke has authored six different technical communication courses in four separate science and technology disciplines, including software development, informatics and security, bioinformatics, and clinical research. He was also the first to develop a degree-level elective (LSO) for Seneca’s first bachelor degree and the first to offer an online LSO. Burke is also the coordinator of Seneca’s Science Communication Summer Institute.
