Erin Dolmage English and Liberal Studies Courses
Erin has been teaching at Seneca since 2014, and currently teaches indigenous studies, sociology and anthropology. She completed her BA in English and history, and MA from UBC in interdisciplinary indigenous studies. Erin is currently a PhD candidate in history at York University. Having worked extensively with the Métis in British Columbia, particularly with Elders, she is now completing her dissertation, which focuses on the construction of Metis Identity through the lens of genealogists. Erin was the recipient of the York University Chancellor Bennett Graduate Scholarship, recipient of a SSHRC Doctoral Award and was a co-editor of the journal Left History.
