In today’s business climate, organizations are placing increased strategic value on investor relations. Since 2011, investor relations professionals have seen significant salary increases and expanding job responsibilities. The Canadian Investor Relations Institute (CIRI) recently established that specialized training in investor relations is a top priority given the heightened industry demand for these professionals.
Seneca is the only college in Ontario to offer an Investor Relations program. In just one-year you’ll be prepared to strategically support publically traded companies to develop constructive and ethical relationships with shareholders, financial analysts and media.
Seneca’s communications graduate certificates are known for their high graduate full-time employment rate. This success is frequently credited to our co-op placements and industry partnerships. In the Investor Relations program you have the option to apply to the co-op stream (IRMC) where you’ll complete a 4-month work term. You’ll apply what you’ve learned into practice and to build a network of contacts in the financial world.
