Carleton University will evaluate all Seneca diploma programs for transfer credit according to their general policy.

Seneca graduates are eligible to apply to degree programs at Carleton. Students will need the high school prerequisite courses listed on the Applying to Undergraduate Studies web page and a minimum GPA of 3.0 to be considered for admission, for most programs. Students may receive advanced standing credits depending on the program completed and the admission requirements of the degree program.

Seneca Program: Early Childhood Education

Degree: Bachelor of Arts or Honours Bachelor of Arts in Child Studies

Graduates of this two-year diploma program with a GPA of 3.3 may be eligible to enter directly into second year of this BA or BA Honours program. Students may be granted up to a maximum of 5.0 credits. Applications are considered on an individual basis.

Seneca Program: Social Service Worker

Degree: Bachelor of Social Work

Graduates of this two-year diploma program with a GPA of 3.0 may be granted up to a maximum of 5.0 credits. Applications are considered on an individual basis.
