University of Guelph-Humber
Use your Seneca diploma as the foundation for your studies at the University of Guelph-Humber (UofGH) in Toronto. Put yourself on the path of opportunity.
Transferring your credits from Seneca to one of our seven honours bachelor degree programs is simple.
“The process was really, really easy. Easier than expected,” said Christian Salgado, a Seneca graduate. Christian is building on his Social Service Worker diploma to earn an Honours Bachelor of Applied Science in Family and Community Social Services at UofGH.
The University of Guelph-Humber is unique because transfer students know immediately at the point of admission what transfer credit they will receive. “I sat down with Alice Salamon, my academic advisor, and she explained what credit I was receiving for what and why. It made sense,” said Christian. “The whole transfer process didn’t take much time.”
After hearing great things about UofGH from friends already enrolled at the University, Christian applied and is now in his third year of study. His advice to others at Seneca: “Don’t wait. Apply. Know your deadlines. If you have questions, talk to admission services.”
When asked about the move from college to university, Christian commented, “I like the small class sizes. Even though Guelph-Humber is a university, you get one-on-one time with professors. They are willing to take extra time after class to explain things to you. You get to know everyone: it builds camaraderie.”
