New Year, New You, New Seneca
What’s happening in 2018?
Centre for Innovation Technology and Entrepreneurship (CITE)
The new building at Newnham Campus will bring applied research and commercialization, specialized training and both student and business-led entrepreneurial activities under one roof.
The new state-of-the-art facility consists of a multi-purpose artificial turf field and a seasonal dome at Newnham Campus. There will also be more options for activities such as rugby, lacrosse, cricket, boot-camp style training, ultimate frisbee, frisbee golf or even mini putt.
King Campus Expansion
The new build at King Campus will add an estimated 140,000 square feet of space for classrooms, labs, a library, a learning centre and study rooms to support hands-on learning and collaborative group work.
Indigenous Centre Under Construction
An Indigenous Centre is under construction at Newnham Campus to serve the growing number of Indigenous students. The 1,600 square-foot building will house the First Peoples@Seneca office and space for communal meeting areas, elder consultation and counselling rooms and a kitchen for traditional food preparation.
Options exist that will allow you to study abroad and earn a credit towards your Seneca credential without a formal agreement between Seneca and another institution.
With all this and more, it’s a great time to be at Seneca…
