Student sitting on green grass at Bishop's University campus

Bishop’s University

Established in 1843, Bishop’s University is older than Canada itself. To this day, our focus remains on high quality teaching, small class sizes and the liberal education of undergraduate students. We are a residential, English university offering programs in Business, Education, Natural Science, Social Science and the Humanities.

With a population of 2,400 students, we offer a unique learning environment where small classes, discussion and debate and the development of critical thinking skills are highly valued. Students with ambition, curiosity and the desire to make a meaningful contribution to society will thrive at Bishop’s.

We offer many opportunities for our students to apply their academic knowledge and skills in real-world settings through various funding initiatives and participation in campus clubs and societies. Located in beautiful Sherbrooke, Quebec Bishop’s is only 1.5 hours from the world-class city of Montreal.
