A high-affinity program is one that has been determined to have academic alignment with a University of Guelph-Humber program and has met the specific subject area requirements expected from the high school curriculum.  Students transferring from high-affinity diplomas are eligible to receive a block of pre-determined transfer credit based on successful diploma completion.


Seneca Program: Accounting and Finance - (Optional Co-op), Accounting, Business - International Business, Business - Marketing, Business Administration - Accounting & Financial Planning - (Optional Co-op), Business Administration - Entrepreneurship and Small Business, Business Administration - International Business - (Optional Co-op), Business Administration - Management, Business Administration - Marketing - (Optional Co-op), Business

Degree: Honours Bachelor of Business Administration + Diploma in Business Administration

Seneca graduates of the 2 year diplomas listed above are eligible for up to 5 credits towards this degree while graduates of the 3 year programs listed above are eligible for up to 10 credits. Students may be considered for admission based on a minimum cumulative average of 75% upon completion of the program.


Seneca Program: Early Childhood Education

Degree: Honours Bachelor of Applied Science in Early Childhood Studies

Seneca graduates of this 2 year diploma are eligible for up to 5 credits towards this degree. Students may be considered for admission based on a minimum cumulative average of 75% upon completion of the program.


Seneca Program: Child and Youth Care (Formerly: Child and Youth Worker), Social Service Worker

Degree: Honours Bachelor of Applied Science in Family & Community Social Services + Social Service Worker Diploma

Seneca graduates of the 2 year diplomas listed above are eligible for up to 5 credits towards this degree while graduates of the 3 year programs listed above are eligible for up to 10 credits. Students may be considered for admission based on a minimum cumulative average of 75% upon completion of the program.


Seneca Program: Police Foundations

Degree: Bachelor of Applied Science in Justice Studies + Diploma in Police Foundations OR Community and Justice Services

Seneca graduates of this 2 year diploma are eligible for up to 5 credits towards this degree. Students may be considered for admission based on a minimum cumulative average of 75% upon completion of the program.


Seneca Program: Fitness and Health Promotion

Degree: Honours Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology + Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion

Seneca graduates of this 2 year diploma are eligible for up to 5 credits towards this degree. Students may be considered for admission based on a minimum cumulative average of 75% upon completion of the program.


Seneca Program: Journalism

Degree: Honours Bachelor of Applied Arts in Media Studies + Diploma in Media Communications
