Applicants who have completed a minimum of one year of a CAAT diploma program that is academic in nature with a minimum cumulative average of B (3.0) at the CAAT will be considered for admission to First Year of an appropriate program. Applicants who have graduated from a 3-year CAAT program that is academic in nature with a minimum cumulative average of B (3.0) at the CAAT will be considered for admission to Second Year of an appropriate program.


Seneca Program: Liberal Arts University Transfer

Degree: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Social Work

Graduates may receive transfer credit for up to 10 courses (1 year). Credit is awarded for approved courses with a minimum grade of B.


Seneca Program: Accounting and Finance - (Optional Co-op), Accounting and Payroll - (Optional Co-op), Accounting, Business - Marketing, Business Administration - Entrepreneurship and Small Business, Business Administration - Financial Planning - (Optional Co-op), Business Administration - Human Resources - (Optional Co-op), Business Administration - Management, Business Administration - Marketing - (Optional Co-op), Business Administration - Purchasing and Supply Management, Business

Degree: Bachelor of Commerce – Honours Business Administration

Graduates of these 3-year diploma programs may be granted up to 20 semester credits toward the Odette School of Business Administration degree for approved courses with a minimum grade of a B–, and a minimum grade of B– in each transferable course or minimum cumulative average of B– for each grouping of transferable courses and in the case of one-to-one transfers of specified 3rd and 4th year courses, an A– average. Graduates of these 2-year diplomas with a cumulative average of B– are eligible for up to two terms of credit toward this degree. **Graduates of 2-year diploma programs in business from any College of Applied Arts and Technology with a cumulative average of B– may transfer to the Odette School of Business Administration at the University of Windsor subject to the following:

(a) Applicants will be granted a maximum of two terms of credit towards the Bachelor of Commerce program.

(b) A remedial course in mathematics may be necessary in order for transfer students to pursue the first-year Mathematics course required in the Bachelor of Commerce program.


Seneca Program: Computer Programming and Analysis - (Optional Co-op), Computer Systems Technology - (Optional Co-op)

Degree: Bachelor of Computer Science (General) or Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours Applied Computing)

Graduates with a minimum 3.0 GPA are eligible, within 10 years of graduation, to apply for admission to a degree program offered by the School of Computer Science at the University of Windsor and may receive transfer credit for up to 15 semester courses (1.5 years of Advanced Standing).


Seneca Program: Child and Youth Care (Formerly: Child and Youth Worker), Early Childhood Education, Social Service Worker - Gerontology, Social Service Worker - Immigrants and Refugees, Social Service Worker

Degree: BA Honours in Disability Studies

Graduates of these 2-year diploma programs with an overall 3.0 GPA (B) average or better may be admitted into second year of the Pre-Disability Studies program. Please refer to the BA Honours in Disability Studies for College of Applied Arts and Technology Graduates for more details.


Seneca Program: Child and Youth Care (Formerly: Child and Youth Worker)

Degree: BA Honours in Disability Studies, Psychology, Social Work

Graduates of all Ontario College Child and Youth Care diploma programs completed in 1996 or later with a cumulative average equivalent to a B (73%) or better will be eligible for entry into Disability Studies and Psychology Degree Completion Programs for CYC Graduates and are eligible to apply for entry into the Honours Bachelor of Social Work for CYC Graduates. Completion of these programs will normally require 3 semesters of full-time study (for General BA degree completion programs) or 4 semesters of full-time study (for Honours BA and BSW degree completion programs).


Seneca Program: Early Childhood Education

Degree: BA or B.S.W. in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences

Students who have completed the Diploma in Early Childhood Education with an overall average of at least B (3.0) will normally receive a minimum of ten course equivalents toward a B.A. or B.S.W. degree in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.


Seneca Program: Child and Youth Care (Formerly: Child and Youth Worker)

Degree: BA or B.S.W. in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences

Students who have completed the Child and Youth Care Diploma program with a cumulative average grade of B (3.0) or better will normally receive a minimum of 15 university credits toward a B.A. or B.S.W. degree in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.


Seneca Program: Social Service Worker

Degree: BA or B.S.W. in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences

Students who have completed a Social Service Worker Diploma program recognized by and making them eligible for registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers with a cumulative average grade of B (3.0 or 70%) or better will normally receive a minimum of 10 university credits toward a B.A. degree or B.S.W. degree in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.
