College vs. University Degree
Each of Seneca’s 12 Degrees have been assessed and approved by the Post-Secondary Education Quality Assessment Board in association with the Ontario Ministry of Education. Each degree is reviewed and renewed every 5-7 years by PEQAB to ensure program quality. All Seneca degrees are considered equivalent to a four year 120 credit honors degree. Therefore, graduates of Seneca degree programs are eligible for Masters level studies, provided they meet all additional entry requirements specified by the receiving institution.
In addition, Seneca’s partner institutions have written letters in support of our degrees. Often, these letters of support specifically indicate that graduates of a Seneca degree program will be eligible for Masters level studies.
