Green Business Management

Seneca's Green Business Management graduate certificate program is the first of its kind in the GTA. Taught by a number of Canada's foremost sustainability practitioners and thought leaders, the program provides you with the practical and pragmatic skills employers are looking for to give you an advantage in a very competitive marketplace. Specifically, you will learn the tools, processes, systems and protocols utilized by today's leading organizations to drive sustainability performance. The project and change management skills acquired in the program will provide you the ability to implement sustainability into organizational operations to drive triple bottom line performance.
Students will be placed with corporate partners, while attending classes, for one day a week near the end of the Fall term and two days a week in the Winter term to gain real business experience. During your placement, you will have the opportunity to apply the skills learned in the classroom as you develop and implement sustainable projects tailored to your placement.. Expect to learn how to develop and implement sustainability action plans that will lead to greater value creation, improved productivity, reduced costs, increased revenues, enhanced risk management and enhanced corporate responsibility for the organization.
- A recognized degree or three-year postsecondary diploma from an accredited institution; OR
- Mature applicants 3 to 5 years of documented work experience in a related field may be considered. Relevant résumé and references must be provided.
- English proficiency at the postsecondary level.
