The Pre-Health Science program is designed for applicants who have completed secondary school or mature students returning to school, who do not have the requisite science and mathematics courses to gain entry into a nursing program. Upon successful completion of this program, you’ll be prepared to meet the entrance requirements of a post-secondary health sciences program. Completion of this program does not, however, automatically ensure acceptance into such programs.

The Importance of Learning Skills:
Student success in college requires well developed learning skills (such as being able to work independently, participate in a team, be well-organized, develop good work habits, and show initiative). These skills are as important as prior academic achievement. While it is expected that applicants would have developed these skills through previous education and life experiences, Seneca offers support to assist students with further development of these important skills.
Take the science, mathematics and English courses you need to be eligible for application to the Nursing - Collaborative BScN Degree program with Seneca College/York University or the Practical Nursing program. Pre-Health students may not meet the admission requirements to other post-secondary institutions. If you wish to further your career at an institution other than Seneca, please check that institution’s admission requirements.
Through transfer agreements and institution partnerships, graduates of this Seneca College program may be eligible for credit at the following post-secondary institution(s):
