Housing - On Campus
Seneca offers students apartment-style residences at its Newnham and King campuses.
These residences are located close to class buildings and facilities such as the library, computer labs and sports halls. Each apartment (right) is fully furnished with two private bedrooms, a kitchen complete with refrigerator and microwave, and a private bathroom. Rooms also include telephones, cable television and Internet access.
All buildings are air conditioned, with elevators, laundry and additional storage facilities. Students will enjoy furnished lounges, study rooms and social areas. All buildings are monitored by security and have 24 hour controlled access. More information is available on the Seneca Residence website.
A free shuttle-bus service is available to residents who attend Seneca’s Markham and York campuses from the Newnham campus residence.
The Seneca Residence and Conference Centre at the Newnham Campus (shown above) is an air-conditioned building which houses 1,112 students. There are common rooms on each floor with video games, pool table and large screen television. Study lounges for individual or group study sessions are also available, as well as barrier-free facilities for students with physical disabilities.
Located in an beautiful setting with over 700 acres of forest, lake and trails, the King Campus Residence and Conference Centre is an air-conditioned building which houses 228 students. Common rooms with games, television and lounge facilities are available to all residents. Study lounges for individual or group study sessions are also available, as well as barrier-free facilities for students with physical disabilities.
