Bio:

As senior principal of Social Reach Consulting, and a senior associate and a senior digital strategist at Canada’s leading strategic communications firm – H+K Strategies – Boyd uses his more than 30 years’ experience in the public and private sectors to provide senior-level counsel to a variety of clients. After 30 years as a corporate communications professional, Neil now handles primarily social media assignments. For example, over the past six years he has conducted social media audits, and created and implemented social media and digital strategies for organizations in the oil and gas, financial, insurance, nuclear, packaged goods and non-profit sectors. He has also counselled six clients on managing social media crises and reputation assaults, and spent six months as head of H+K’s New York social and digital team. Neil is also an active blogger and speaks frequently on social media trends and strategies including at such leading interactive conferences as SXSW (2012 + 2013), NXNE (2012) and HPX (2012).
