Captain Rob Johnson has accumulated more than 18,000 hours in an aviation career spanning more than 40 years. A graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada, he served in the Canadian Forces as a pilot on the CF-104 Starfighter and the CF-18 Hornet. He was a Senior Captain on the Boeing 747-200/300/400 series with a major worldwide air carrier and recently flew as a production test pilot for an aircraft manufacturer. He holds several qualifications on a variety of aircraft and helicopters around the world. Captain Johnson currently specializes in introducing the philosophy of the modern airline cockpit with emphasis on the principles of automation airmanship leading to safe and efficient flight operations.
