Facilitates the implementation of policies and practices that support student mobility both within and among provinces and territories and granting of transfer credit in order to improve access to postsecondary education in Canada.


British Columbia Council on Admissions and Transfer (BCCAT)
Oversees the BC Transfer System, enabling important links between the BC postsecondary institutions, the education ministries, and the public and private education sectors.


BC Transfer Guide
The BC Transfer System enables students to receive credit at an institution for a course taken at another.


Alberta Council on Articulation and Transfer (ACAT)
Serves as a body through which stakeholders work cooperatively to ensure effective transferability of courses and programs for the benefits of students.


Atlantic Provinces Community College Consortium (APCCC)
Promotes and supports the strategic development of regional collaboration, coordination, and sharing of resources among the Atlantic community colleges.


Council on Articulations and Transfer of New Brunswick (CATNB)
Works in partnership as a link between the NB postsecondary institutions, the education ministries, as well as the public and private education sectors in order to facilitate articulations and transfers.


Nova Scotia Council on Admission & Transfer (NSCAT)
MyNSFuture is operated and maintained by the Nova Scotia Council on Admission & Transfer. NSCAT is a collaboration of the eleven publicly funded universities and colleges in Nova Scotia, in partnership with the Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Advanced Education. NSCAT serves as the organization through which collaborative systems that support student enrolment, mobility and success are managed.


Campus Manitoba
Campus Manitoba is a consortium of Manitoba's public postsecondary institutions. We encourage collaboration and facilitate student mobility in Manitoba.


Western Consortium on Admissions and Transfer (WestCAT)

Encourages and facilitates inter-provincial access, mobility, and transfer of credits for students moving among British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.


Council of Ministers of Education, Canada (CMEC) Working Group on Credit Transfer
Develops pan‐Canadian strategies of credit transfer between colleges and universities and among provinces and territories.


National Institute for the Study of Transfer Students (NISTS)
Supports those who directly serve these students, as well as those who create transfer policy and conduct transfer-related research.


The Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials (CICIC)
CICIC is Canada's National Information Centre and fulfills Canada's obligations under UNESCO conventions to facilitate the mobility of talent.


The College Quarterly
The College Quarterly (CQ) is an independent, internet-based journal of research and discussion published by Seneca College. It is directed primarily to college educators, and others interested in postsecondary education relevant to the Canadian college context.
