Advanced holiday payroll deadline

Due to the timing of the December 2018 holiday break, the payroll department will be processing pays in advance.

Therefore, all timesheets and payroll documents must be received, or approved online, by noon, on Monday, Dec. 10 (for pay period 26) and noon on Wednesday, Jan. 2 (for pay period 1).

2018 Pay Period 26 includes:

  • Temporary and part-time employees — Dec. 2 to 15 (forecast hours for Dec. 9 to15)
  • Full-time employees — Dec. 17 to Dec. 30
  • Pay Date of December 28

Please note: contracts must be entered and approved by Wednesday, Dec. 5. Timesheets must be approved online by noon on Monday, Dec. 11. Any payroll items received after this date will not be processed until the first pay of January 2019.

2019 Pay Period 1 includes:

  • Temporary and part-time employees — Dec. 16 to Dec. 29
  • Full-time employees — Dec. 30 to Jan. 12
  • Pay Date of Jan. 10, 2019

Please note: Seneca is closed from Monday, Dec. 24 to Tuesday, Jan. 1, so employees may want to enter hours prior to leaving on Friday, Dec. 21. Any payroll items received after this date will not be processed until pay period 2 in January.

Due to the shortened processing schedules, any timesheets not entered or approved by these timelines will not be processed by manual payment and will need to wait until the next pay date for processing.

If you will be away from the office, timesheets can be submitted in advance.
