Advanced holiday payroll deadline
Due to the timing of the December 2016 holiday break, the payroll department will be processing pays in advance.
Therefore, all timesheets and payroll documents must be received, or approved online, by noon, on Monday, Dec. 12 (for Pay Period 26) and noon on Tuesday, Jan. 3 (for Pay Period 1 — 2017).
Pay Period 26 for:
Temporary/part-time employees — December 4 to 17 (forecast hours for December 12 to17) and Full-time employees — December 18 to December 31
- Pay Date of December 29
- Contracts must be entered and approved by Wednesday, Dec. 7. Timesheets must be approved online by noon on Monday, Dec. 12; any payroll items received after this date will not be processed until the first pay of January 2017
2017 Pay Period 1 for:
Temporary/Part-time employees — December 18 to December 31 and Full-time employees — January 1 to 14
- Pay Date of January 12, 2017
- Contracts must be entered and approved by Wednesday, Dec. 21. Timesheets must be approved online by noon on Tuesday, Jan. 3. Please note: Since Seneca is closed from Friday, Dec. 23 at noon and reopens on Tuesday, Jan. 3, you may want your employees to enter their hours prior to leaving on Friday, Dec. 23. Any payroll items received after this date will not be processed until the second pay of January.
Due to the shortened processing schedules, any timesheets not entered or approved by these timelines will not be processed by manual payment and will need to wait until the next pay date for processing.
If you will be away from the office, timesheets can be submitted in advance.
